The Norka website reports that Martin Albrecht immigrated to Russia from the German village of Pferdsbach.

He arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 abord the Russian pink Vologda under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Bartenyev.

Martin arrived in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 where he is recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 30 along with his new bride.
