Discussion & Documentation:

Johann Heinrich Jakel, son of Johann Jacob & Catharina Jäckel, was born in about 1723 in Dauernheim. He married in Düdelsheim on 27 January 1746 to Anna Catharina, daughter of Johann Heinrich Burbach. They arrived in Balzer on 18 June 1767 and are listed in the 1767 Census of Balzer in Household No. 55.

They arrived with three children, each of whom had been baptized in Düdelsheim: Johann Friedrich (baptized 31 August 1749), Heinrich Peter (baptized 29 September 1752), and Anna Catharina (baptized 4 May 1758). The following year (1768), son Friedrich moved to Kutter.
