Johann Peter Kreick, son of Johann Melchior Kreick of Schlierbach, married on 24 July 1752 in nearby Hellstein to Elisabeth Schäfer, daughter of Johann Conrad Schäfer.  They had 4 children who's baptism are recorded in the Hellstein parish records: Johann Georg, born 19 November 1752; Johann Jacob, born 17 February 1754; Anna Magdalena, born 25 December 1755; and Charlotta Friderica, born 18 October 1756.

The family immigrated to Russia, settling in the colony of Huck on 9 August 1766.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 78.  They were still living in Huck when the 1798 census was taken, recorded in Household No. Hk94.
