Bern

History:

Bern was founded by colonists who were recruited by Baron Caneau de Beauregard.

The 1767 census does not include a list of the original colonists in Bern as they were residing in other colonies at that time.

Bern was dissolved in 1770 and its inhabitants absorbed into Basel, Bettinger, Biberstein, Schönchen, Schaffhausen, Wittmann, Zug, and Zürich.
