Johann Heinrich Arnholdt, a tiler (Fliesenleger), and his wife settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 19 August 1767.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 37.  Before 1798, he moved to the colony of Kratzke and remarried to Katharina Gieske.  He died in Kratzke in 1818.

The 1767 census records that he was from Berlin.

There are no known surviving male descendants of this family.
