Peter Bäcker and his family immigrated to Russia from the German village of Salmünster. They arrived at the port of Oranienbaum from Lübeck on 29 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Johann Schkott. They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 where they are recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 45.
This Bäcker family doesn't seem to be related to the other one that settled in Krasnoyar.
