Johann Georg Bath was born 25 Feb 1714 in Rheinbischofsheim, Baden (formerly Hanuaerland). He married Elisabeth Walther on 23 Jan 1743. They had three children prior to immigrating to Russia: Christina, born 23 Nov 1754, David, born 21 Jun 1756, and Michael, born 3 Oct 1758. The family initially settled in Dietel where they are recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 9.  Son Michael later moved to Frank.
