There are two Belzig families that settled in the Volga German colony of Enders on 27 March 1766. Their relationship to each other is not recorded on the 1767 census.
(1) Hans Christian Belzig (age 26) and his wife Katharina are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 30. The 1767 census records that Katharina came from the German region of Durlach.
(2) Hans Peter Belzig (age 17) and his brother Hans Peter [sic] (age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Enders in Household No. 29 along with their stepfather Georg Stenaben.
The 1767 census records that both of these Belzig families came from the German village of Schleswig in the Holstein region.
