Johann [Heinrich] Bieker, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Ober-Monjou  and are recorded there on the 1798 census in Household No. Om57.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Bieker came from the German region of Mainz.
