Georg Blehm, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Shcherbakovka on 20 May 1766.  They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 35.

In 1790, Ferdinand Blehm moved from Shcherbakovka to Dobrinka. In 1796, Georg Michael Blehm and his siblings moved from Shcherbakovka to Kratzke.

The 1767 census records that Georg Blehm came from the German region of Holstein.
