Andreas Blesau, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 July 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Jakob Janson.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 66.
The 1767 census records that Andreas Blesau came from the German village of Werbellin in the Brandenburg region.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this Blesau family among the Volga German colonies.
