Heinrich Burg (age 19) and his siblings Peter (age 17), Nikolaus (age 14), Jakob (age 11), and Katharina Elisabeth (age 4) settled in the Volga German colony of Bauer on 20 July 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17 along with their mother and stepfather, Johann Heinrich von Anben.
The 1767 census records that the Burg family came from the German village of Reval in the Estland region [today Tallinn, Estonia].
