Christian David, a single stonemason, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 31 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat under the command of Lieutenant Korsakov.

In 1788, Christian Dietel moved from Dietel to Hussenbach.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian David came from the region of Berlin.
