Gottlieb Heinze, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Dobrinka on 29 June 1764. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 19.

In 1793, Friedrich Heinz moved from Dobrinka to Müller.

The 1767 census records that Gottlieb Heinze came from the German town of Dresden in the region of Sachsen (Saxony).
