Johann Heinrich Heldt married 28 February 1741 in Georgenhausen to Anna Eva Wagner. She was born 5 June 1720 in Georgenhausen.

They immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) and settled in the colony of Neubörm. From there, they immigrated to Russia arriving in Dönhof on 2 July 1766. Johann Heinrich is serving as the Beisitzer (vice-mayor) of Dönhof and is recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 2. Son Johann Jakob and his family are recorded in Household No. 25.
