Discussion & Documentation:

Johann Peter Hock and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 51.

The 1767 census records that Johann Peter Hock came from Meiningen in Saxony.

There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this Hoch family among the Volga German colonies.
