Heinrich Johannes, a wagon maker (Wagenbauer), and his wife Katharina Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Kukkus on 26 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Johannes came from the German village of Allendorf near Braunfels.
