Kembel / Kempel
Konrad Kembel/Kempel, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766. They settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 50.
The 1798 census of Balzer records Sebastian Kembel from Huck in Household No. Bz065.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Konrad Kempel came from the German region of Isenburg.
