Wilhelm Kunst, a hunter (Jäger), and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 14 February 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.
The 1767 census records that Wilhelm Kunst came from the German village of Kail in the Kurpfalz region.
