Johann Konrad Münster was born on 5 May 1722 in Langwaden, southwest of Darmstadt. He married on 15 August 1747 in Schwanheim to Anna Barbara Engelhardt. She had been born on 10 April 1735 in Bensheim.
They immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1760. They joined the migration to Russia in 1765 where they settled in the Volga German colony of Beideck. They are recorded there on the 1775 census (No. 17). Their son Johann Peter is recorded on the 1798 Census in Household No. Bd69.
