Konrad Macht, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 21 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 60.

The 1767 census records that Konrad Macht came from the German village of Brückenau in the Fulda region.
