Micheal Meier, a farmer, his wife Christina, and son Hans Adam settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 6 July 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 13.

The 1798 census of Pfeifer records the widow of Johannes Meier from Kamenka in Household No. Pf17.

The 1767 census records that Michael Meier came from the German town of Frankfurt am Main.
