Discussion & Documentation:

Eloiß and Anna Barbara Michel had the following children, each born in the German village of Fischborn: (1) Johann Adam, born 27 June 1759 and (2) Eva, born 6 June 1763.  Their baptisms are recorded in the parish records of Unterreichenbach.  The family immigrated to Russia.

Eloiß died in route, and Anna Margaretha remarried to Johannes Schneider.  They and the two Michel children settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767, and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 47.

Johannes & Barbara Schneider are recorded on the 1798 Census of Huck in Household No. Hk09.  Michael Adam Bless is actually Barbara's son from her first marriage, Adam Michel. This conclusion is confirmed because this family is also recorded on the 1834 Census of Huck in Household No. 25.
