Peter Minor, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Heidemann.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Dehler on 19 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 38.

In 1788, Zacharius Minor and his family moved from Brabander to Dehler.

The 1834 census of Preuss records Paul Minor, son of Zacharius Minor from Dehler, in Household No. 77.

The 1767 census records that Peter Minor came from the German village of Wirges in the region of Kurmainz.
