Johann Prinz, a farmer, and his wife Anna Elisabeth arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov. He has not been located on the 1767 census. He is next recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr023.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that he came from the German district of Isenburg.
There do not appear to be any male descendants of Johann Prinz, so this family does not continue among the Volga German colonies.
