Johann Adam Rosenberg, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived at the port of Oranienbaum from Lübeck on 15 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of skipper Franz Nicolaus Schroeder.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Nieder-Monjou on 3 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 68.
The 1767 census records that Johann Adam Rosenberg came from the German village of Niederzell.
