Hieronymus Sieben, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He and his family are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 20.

In 1794, Balthasar Sieben moved from Schuck to Pfeifer.

The 1798 census of Schuck records that Peter Sieben and several members of his family are living in Dehler.

The 1767 census records that Hieronymus Sieben came from the German region of Mainz.
