Widower Wolfgang Soltner and his son Johann arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 on a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.
Father Wolfgang settled in the Volga German colony of Hockerberg on 3 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 67.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Wolfgang Soltner was a farmer from Würzburg. The 1767 census records that Johann Wolfgang Soltner was a baker (Bäcker) from Ansbach.
