Discussion & Documentation:

Johann Georg Spürer appears on the list of those being transported from Oranienbaum to the Volga German colonies. He is next recorded on the 1798 census of Hussenbach in Household No. Hs002.

Johann Georg Spürer is also believed to be recorded on the Oranienbaum passenger list arriving from Lübeck on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson - erroneously recorded under the surname of Staffer. There are several other Hussenbach families aboard this galliot.
