Discussion & Documentation:

Heinrich Jakob Stürz and his family immigrated to Russia.  The only surviving member of this family appears to be Friedrich who settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter where he is recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 77 at age 15, living with the Georg Lorenz family. There is no relationship between the Lorenz and Stürz families recorded on the 1767 census.

Before 1798, Friedrich moved to the colony of Galka where he is recorded on the 1798 census in Household No. Gk19.
