David Trübelhorn, a farmer, and his family immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), arriving in Flensburg on 15 May 1762.

They joined the migration to Russia and settled in the Volga German colony of Beideck where they are recorded on the 1775 census in Household No. 39.
