Johannes Wagner, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 aboard a pink under the command of Lieutenant Moisey Davydov.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 21 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6 along with his sister and brother-in-law, Joseph Gareis.
