Widower Johann Heinrich Weisgerber and his 6 children immigrated to Russia: Anna Maria, b. 6 August 1741, Christoph, b. 1744, Johann Phillip, b. 21 December 1749, Johannes, b. 20 August 1752, Johann Heinrich, b. 13 March 1755, and Wolf Heinrich, b. 27 November 1757.  All of the children were born in the German village of Wächtersbach.

They arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766.  They settled in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767 and are recorded on the 1767 Census in Household No. 33.
